Problem (for Laptops only): Wireless broadband was working perfectly but suddenly stopped - and now you have only a message "not connected - no connections are available". The network, router etc are all fine - your other computers and mobiles all connect without problem.

Solution 1: Unplug battery and turn on the laptop with direct power cord. (In this case, you will quickly know that the issue is due to power/battery. You may try out solution # 2 as well if you want to keep using existing battery)

Solution 2:

  1. Go to Control Panel
  2. Click on Device Manager
  3. In device manager, expand Network Adapters
  4. Double click on your wireless adapter
  5. Go to the tab Power Management
  6. Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power", if that is enabled
  7. Restart your laptop

Possible Reason: This happened to me cause the battery had issue with charging and the computer decided to turn off the device thinking it could save power.
